Different Take on a Adams

I watched this today.  This pattern intrigues me, with or without tenkara rod.  It would be a mix of dry fly, wet, and emerger.  I really like the addition of the shuck. I might try to tie some as part of my simple fly box.

I got my butt handed to me once by a guy nymphing a #16 Adams dry.  I had worked a riffle/run over real good and only caught one fish, the dude came in behind me with that drowned Adams and totally cleaned up.
