Lance34 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Wow! First time out since before Christmas. What a awesome eventful day yesterday was! Went out yesterday pushing minnows hunting for crappie and ended up with 4 stripers and 5 crappie. 40 degree water temp, 15-18 feet down, in 20-25 feet of water, in the White River arm is where I caught my fish. Swinging stripers aboard on a long crappie rod don't work too well by the way. Only downer from the trip is I got a Helix 5 SI GPS for the bow and the fist time out using it the DI and SI is a black screen. Sending the unit and the transducer back to HB to have them figure it out. Here some pics. Have a great weekend on the water. BilletHead, zarraspook, Quillback and 1 other 4

J-Doc Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 At least someone is getting out and catching something. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Blll Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Outstanding!! A terrific fishing report! Thanks!! Sounds like upstream is the place to go. May try to sneak under the 12 bridge next week. Stripers on crappie minnows, who knew?

That time I lost a real big one that pulled all my line off and caused a big cluster. This time I was lucky that each one was on the outside rods. Blll 1
Stump bumper Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 No whites? They should be thick in there now.
