nhornback Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Never been on lake of the ozarks but will be coming up to fish it this weekend. Will be staying and fishing around the 54 bridge. Was hoping somebody could fill me in on water conditions (water temp, clarity) and what kind of bass bite is going on? Thanks in advance NH
fishinwrench Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 The 54 Niangua bridge, or the 54 Glaize bridge?
nhornback Posted February 18, 2016 Author Posted February 18, 2016 Hmm not sure. Bridge on 54 north toward jeff city... ? (North from camdenton)
WeekendWarrior Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Run to the other 54 bridge ?. The glaize is chocolate along with the main lake. Fishing should be good this weekend in the clear water of the Nianguas with the warm temps and wind. Water temps are in low 40s with mostly dirty water everywhere except in the Niangua arms. Good luck
marcus Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 id recommend crappie fishing the docks might have better numbers and more fun not that the bass arnt biting but i heard the crappie bite is going good after looking at some other post
nhornback Posted February 19, 2016 Author Posted February 19, 2016 Thanks for the info guys. Figure I will hit south facing main and 2nd points and channel swings for awhile, but if that doesn't pan out maybe I'll throw on a marabou jig and hit some docks for crappie. If anything I do works out I'll make sure and post a report. Thanks again, NH marcus 1
