Bscreek sounds a lot like crane in the summer. If you walk up on a hole and don't immediately cast it helps a lot. Also, coming from down stream up. I've learned on crane that your fly doesn't have to be tiny either, I throw 10 and 12 bhp and wooly buggers a lot. My success has come from making fewer more precise casts and waiting in between. Also not overlooking spots where the smaller fish can live. My two cents
