Took the new boat out for her inaugural fishing trip with my girls. I wish I could have taken my 4 yo son, but he came down with a sinus infection. Fishing was very good. Caught several large keepers including one measure 19.5". Put in at High Point. Water is stained. Warmest I found was 46 degrees.

Broke in the new motor a little. She rode like a dream even in white caps. I was really surprised how well she handled in some decent waves. No bouncing at all. I'm really pleased with the boat. Six seats and plenty of leg room.

I spent ALL DAY yesterday on Table Rock (Shell Knob) with my buddy in his boat. VERY slow. 4 bites all day. Glad I made the trip up to Stockton. There are a few fish around.

Sounds awesome! I have a tracker (not as nice as yours)with a similar configuration. The deep V has worked great for that rough Stockton water.

Great looking boat. Should handle our beloved Stockton winds just fine. Nice fish as well.

No attempts at crappie or walleye on this trip. I was marking bait balls in the morning, then they seemed to scatter by the afternoon.

I traded in my deep hull 2011 Tracker Pro Guide 175 Combo for this boat (it's a Lund Crossover 1875 XS). In other words, that's a very expensive bass I caught. :) I liked my Tracker, but wanted to upgrade while it still had value. I also needed more seating capacity. The Tracker was rated for 5 while this one is rated for 8 (for the kids and their friends to go tubing).

Yep those little green fish aren't cheap. Believe me I know!

What technique proved the best?  I was down Thursday and Friday but spent my time setting toilets and cutting trim.  Awesome weather to be out.

Nice boat. What will be your main species to fish for?

I figure this boat can do it all. I primarily fish for crappie, bass, and walleye. I'd really like to increase my walleye 'aptitude,' but we'll see. These Crossovers are the SUVs of boats.

One word regarding my success on Sunday...brush.
