I've read a few posts on some forums where people have had that issue with these big transducers from Garmin. Garmin actually even came out with a splash plate that is available to buy to mount to the bracket to keep the spray down. They may have addressed this with the new style transducer though, as those threads were from earlier in 2015. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Ketchup Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 That has been my only dislike about these transducers, is the spray. Yes it sprays about a foot above the cowling while on plane. Other than installing a splash block above it, i guess theres nothing else but to live with it. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
