Members crappiecatchingbrad
Does anyone think all this warm rain will bring water temperature up and get the crappie moving?
MOPanfisher
It certainly won't hurt any. So far the rain has been just perfect to get the pastures, wheat fields etc. really going. Not much run off yet, however ground is good and wet so if another big rain hits today or tomorrow it could add some runoff and warmth to the lake. There is a slight bump in the creeks and rivers from what we have already but not much.
Members audiochem
The biggest help may be not dipping down into the 30's each night. It seemed like for the last couple weeks, we would lose all the heat we gained at night. Staying above 50 at night this week might help...unfortunately, we don't have a lot of direct sun light. It's all about enthalpy!

straw hat
I am an entropy man myself. lol entropy /ˈɛn trə pinoun 1. Thermodynamics. (on a macroscopic scale) a function of thermodynamic variables, as temperature, pressure, or composition, that is a measure of the energy that is not available for work during a thermodynamic process. A closed system evolves toward a state of maximum entropy. Hammer time
