Members CrappieMaster24 Posted March 11, 2016 Author Members Posted March 11, 2016 Thanks man! Yeah i have slayed the walleye this winter its the first time i have never targeted them, and from fishing the sac as well as one other place i have caught well over 35 walleye since end of january. I think i found a new fish to fish for in the winter months. Not as hard as it seems. and they taste fantastic! Not a huge fan of eating whites but last year we cut the mudlines out of them and they are almost as good as crappie. Crappie fishing is my favorite but i think walleye just made #2!
slab slinger Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Did the big girl still have eggs in her??? Guessing the other 2 fish we're males??? CrappieMaster24 1
MOPanfisher Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 A little Cajun seasoning, a sheet of foil on a set cake pan, little melted butter, a few minutes on a hot grill. Mmmmmm. Flake them up and put them in a warm flour tortilla with some greens or whatever else you like. Make you want to fillet every white bass you catch and hybrids are even better. slab slinger Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 That's cool you shared pic of eggs. By the color and blood vessels they look ready soon. Thanks. CrappieMaster24 1
slab slinger Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Zoomed in closer and they're still tight packed. Might still have time to get me a few river eyes yet. You got me fired up to get down there. I have been working on my hunting property every weekend for the past 4 months. Will get finished this weekend then I'll be on the water. Cant wait. CrappieMaster24 1
