Farm Pond Fun With My Son

Got my son out to the farm pond for some fishing on Saturday. The rain and lower temps made it less appealing to my 3 year old than when we talked about going fishing all week. He had a good time and helped reel in some nice fish but we kept the trip short. He liked reeling in the crappie better since they came in easier.

I hope to get him out again soon or in the boat when it's nicer out.

Nice job and a couple nice bass too!  Is that a Cars fishing pole?  My 2 1/2 year old has one.  He too likes the small fish better cause they are "babies" like his younger brother.

 

Can't wait to get him out this year.

Yeah, we are about to upgrade to a "ninja turtles" rod though.

I got the ninja turtles rod......it's now a sword for combat.  Toddlers lol.

Just upgraded to the zebco 33 and telescopic rod.  Sweet rig.  

Great fish and pics btw......Looks like spot great time.  Those bass are nice ones too!
