Mofloatjunkie Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 After my failed attempt to catch a trout at the dam I decided to drive down by Indian point and make a few casts. I started off throwing a spoon around the docks with no luck. Switched to a brown and orange colored wiggle wart and casted along some chunk rock in a small cove. First cast I caught a 19 incher that had a very fat belly. 10 minutes later I caught a 17 incher casting at the same spot. Then it was over. Not another bite. I'm super stoked that a caught two keepers in the little time I had. Can't wait to get out there again soon. shark bait, merc1997 Bo, Muddy Water and 3 others 6
m&m Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 MFJ, thanks for the information. I hope to be out there in Indian Point in the morning. Good to know that the crankbait is still an option. Mike
Mofloatjunkie Posted March 18, 2016 Author Posted March 18, 2016 Both the bass I caught appeared to be fat and very full of eggs.
