If anyone doubts the bass fishing in Beaver right now, go out and prove yourself wrong!  The lake is on fire!!  My daughter and I had 15 pounds and didn't even get a check!  Caught every one of them cranking but you can catch them any way you want. We had around 20 keepers Saturday and most everyone had a limit.

Nice Fish...I backed out all weekend because of the temps and wind chill and you post that pic of your daughter who probably didn't complain once. Looks like I missed a good weekend on the lake.

Well, I had a buddies Army sleeping bag that she snuggled up in!!

138 teams brought fish to the scales

650 total fish weighed for 1,709 pounds

138 teams had five-fish limits.

For a one day event, on Beaver Lake.

Are you serious? And I thought Beaver was a tough lake to fish? Thought the cold front would shut down the bite so I didn't get out there instead stayed closer to home. Now I'm kicking myself.

That's an incredible tourney for Beaver. What was the weight of the winning bag?

It has been good for a while..we had a 30 boat club tourney a couple weeks ago and it took 21 1/2 to win.
