Fished for a couple of hours Tuesday evening out of HC. Ran up to WarEagle marina looking for birds or sign of schools as they had been there over the weekend. Nothing.

On way back to HC,. I spent a few minutes at mouth of cove behind marina and caught several. They really got active around 645 and would eat anything you threw. Caught several on kvd spinner as well as sexy dawg. It was a blast and mostly females.

Its still a search and destroy kind of mission but they are out there.

You'd think this rain would stir them up.  The White came up quite a bit.  It was at 2500cfs and muddy when I looked at the graph this morning.  Water temp at Wyman is around 58 or so.  That ought to supercharge them if they're still going to come up.

Totally agree on the searching.  Nice report. I was hoping they'd be in the HC area.

Went out early this morning. Water is still pretty muddy - chocolate milk. Found a few in the slack water but nothing to brag about. A lot of people out looking today, hopefully it turns on soon!

Where were u fishing?  I was out yesterday from HSB to passed point 12 and the water looked good all along there.  Not muddy at all

Dan - I was up at twin bridges in goshen. Lots of people fishing up there, but with the water so dirty live bait is key. Tough for a fly fisher... or maybe I need to look into that!

Turbidity is showing 25 and about 650 cfs on the wyman gauge. That level is fishable on they fly, but the turbidity needs to get down to 20 at most. It should fire off this week if folks are hammering them on bait.
