slab slinger Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Started out this morning at Taylor Bridge and headed up river to the power lines. It was a slow day over all but what nice weather minus the wind. Nailed a nice sow right away at the bridge but never found another. Headed up an found a few more fish but nothing crazy. Only managed 5 nice sized whites 1 drum and a hand full of dinks. Never found any numbers another one year one there day. Fished 8am-noon. Fish were caught on sliders and road runners. Didn't see anyone with many fish. Talked to a boater that came up from Orleans. He said slow as well down there. The sows eggs looked close to ready to me. Took a pic so you could make your own judgment. Think it'll be good after next week's weather. Good luck men. Hope you do better than I did today. BilletHead, trythisonemv and dan hufferd 3
trythisonemv Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 II'll be down tomorrow morning! I think the cold front moving off and warm up today will turn them on fire tomorrow and over the next few days. High hopes I guess.
bologna Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 First really good report shows up and I'm taking a day off from work.
