luckycraft Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Put in the water around 8. Thought that trolling cranks could catch some staging crappie before they went to the bank. Fished this way for about 1.5 hours before we lost interest. Started then to throw the ned rig for bass. Caught about 10 bass between the two off us, of which 2 measured. No pics because none of them were worth taking a picture of. Had a great time on the lake with a buddy before the wind beat us off the lake. Left at 1 with nothing to fry. Talked to 2 other groups of trollers and their fishing report was "sucks". Its about ready to happen, just have to be on the water when it does. Good luck everyone. Mike

dan hufferd Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 I saw a family of otters this winter near R.Bluff west. I was at sunset, they were very vocal. It was really neat !
Ketchup Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 We've seen a single otter on 3 occasions the past month. Love seeing the wildlife while out fishing. That tickles my fancy just as much as catching fish. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
