moguy1973 Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 I'm guessing that the closest public ramps coming from St. Louis would be the ones on the Glaize Arm? Anyone know how those are looking at the current lake levels? -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
WHARFRAT Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 From Kirkwood, you can get to Larry Gale in 2.5 hrs. Ramp is always open. Not sure the time it takes to get to the Glaize. Probably insignificant. @lozcrappie
WeekendWarrior Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Any of your big public ramps are fine, as for closest Pb2 or Larry Gale coming down 44 or Coffman coming in from 70
moguy1973 Posted April 6, 2016 Author Posted April 6, 2016 We were thinking of coming out Saturday morning but looking at the weather forecast we might have changed our minds...Supposed to be spring time and 30 degrees to start the morning isn't spring time. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
WHARFRAT Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 if there's very little wind, I'm fine with it. But if it's like it's been the last few weeks, then I'm staying off the water. Tired of dealing with a 20-30 mph breeze. @lozcrappie
WeekendWarrior Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Sorry guys, probably my fault. We have our first club tourney this weekend so that is why we will be having this cold front ?. Just when the crappie were just getting good for me again to, had a limit yesterday in couple hours. Dinner is going to be good tonight! MOsmallies 1
shrapnel Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Hmmm that water in your livewell looks pretty clear...
