chi0082 Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Fished this morning with not a single bite. Did not see any fish swimming around either. Weather was cold this morning. Must've turned the fish off. Need a few 80 degree days to get the water temp back up & the fish should cooperate. Maybe next week. So if you're thinking about fishing this weekend, I'd wait til next week. I made an hour drive to get there and it wasn't worth it. Water still a bit cold for a wide open bite. I was throwing everything from purple swimming minnows to Alabama rigs to rattle traps and rooster tails. All of them in various colors. So obviously the fish aren't there yet. Hope this helps someone out and saves them a trip.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 59 degree water at Blunks on Wed. I ran up there for a little bit. We could see them swimming, and we saw some people loading there boat with them. We caught a couple and headed back to the lake to find crappie  bassfisher 1
