CoolHandFluke
Caught one by accident once bass fishing. Does anyone know what techniques work best for targeting walleye in the pits ? Also, what pits hold good numbers of walleye? Thanks in advance. dan hufferd
dan hufferd
That is interesting I wonder what the numbers are like?? If it is standing still water I would try jigging a minnow or night crawler. They like shiny stuff. Are you fishing from a boat or bank? What a treasure to catch a walleye there, very cool !

CoolHandFluke
I guess the state stock them in some of the pits around columbus. Not sure which ones except for the one I caught one in.
Members Skell9653
I had no idea. I'll be interested to do some research and make some phone calls. Lol. In my opinion, in terms of eating, nothing beats walleye. And to tell ya the truth I haven't had much luck walleye fishing over at Stockton the last few years. bluebasser86
My brother in law has caught a few of them while fishing for bass out of the pit by Big Brutus. I've never seen one though but he says that pit has at least a decent population of them.
