MOPanfisher Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Damp paper seems to keep them plenty moist in the little Styrofoam boxes. Heck they store them in a fridge at the bait shops, and I have kept them for a couple weeks in the fridge at home, if they need a little extra moisture there is plenty right over the side of the boat.
Hunter75 Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 The frabill crawler can works great. I put water in the bottom compartment and keep it in the freezer until i need it, then you just wash your crawlers and put them in the top compartment with an inch or so of water and its good all day. dprice 1

I'll add an inch or two of lake water to the top compartment and then add ice cubes throughout the day. Just make sure the ice cubes are made from distilled water. The ice "disk" in the bottom compartment will last almost all day in the summer. This is a much cleaner approach with the cold water plumping up the crawlers. Academy sells the Frabill version.
