Fishing tournament questions

Me and my 11 year old are wanting to start fishing some tournaments. We don't care either bass or crappie. Could anyone get us pointed into the right direction to get started. We do have a 19' Ranger bass boat. I'd appreciate any information and guidance. Thank you

Brad Shockley on the Pomme forum put together regular crappie tournaments on Pomme if you aren't partial to being on stockton.

How bout a local bass club    

Usa bassn  has a cheap tournament  they keep points yearly and have  a champion ship      

I fished it for a few years with my boy  made championships  but always had to work 

they treated me and my son  real nice   Great group of fisherman

Here You go! This is the best tournament for a kid around. I fished it with my daughter starting when she was 8 all the way till she turned 18. Real good guys put this on. They have it all figured out and help with the unloading and loading of the boats. All the kids get something and the money goes to a great cause! You must put this on your list.

I would second that tourney. Fished it with each one of my three kids and they all enjoyed it. Very well run tourney.

There was a Fish Tales Family Fishing circuit back in the late 90's or early 2000's.  Anyone know if this is an off-shoot of that.  I see J.P. Sell is one of the contacts and if I remember right, he fished the circuit back then.  I fished it with my 2 sons and it was a great environment.

I fish in a republic bass club tournament.  Just a bunch of good ol boys that like to fish.  Their's 1 every 2nd tuesday of the month.  Usually jump around between Table Rock, Stockton, LOZ, Pomme, Bull Shoals, with the championship at TR.   Having a make up tourney April 30th on stockton.  $70 entry per boat.  If interested pm me and i'll give you the guys number that runs it.
