m&m Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Patlock and I went out from 11am until 2:30 pm Saturday. We launched at Moonshine and fished from point 5 to the mouth of Indian Point. Caught only 5 fish including a keeper LM and keeper SM. Pat caught both keepers (16") on the Ned in 10-15 fow. Wind was blowing right at us and we saw some fish busting shad in the back of one of the small coves, but couldn't entice a bite. WT was 55-56 in each cove. A couple of the coves had that copper looking water. We decided to do chores on Sunday rather than fight the whitecaps. Mike 96 CHAMP, big c and Quillback 3

Quillback Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Looks like after today the wind will finally get reasonable. Thanks for the report, the fishing sounds tough out there.

96 CHAMP Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 I agree with you, Sunday was not a day to be out there, it gets to the point where it just beats you up,
