Tips for Meramec State Park?

My girlfriend and I are driving up to the state park to camp this weekend from Springfield. Any tips for species to target or what to expect up there? What are the regulations I should know about....getting conflicted info for black bass when I try to look them up?

David the only regulations pertaining to all Black bass on rivers you should know is don't  keep any bass, they are Catch and release  until 5/31. 

Fishing will be okay only because a dropping river sucks for fishing....you need a canoe/kayak or jet boat to have a decent  chance.

I would target the largemouth in any slack water you can find on senkos.
