They are not biting great, but if you can find them, you will do ok. I was in my spot before sunrise, and they were biting right up on the bank. As it got closer to noon, they kept moving out. Then eventually stopped biting. Tried dragging cranks to catch a few whites, but only caught tiny ones. Have they moved out of the lake yet?

The eggs in these females are ready to go! I did talk to several guys at the boat ramp who didn't have any luck. Most of them only caught 3-5 fish.

They are not biting on LOZ either. Water is not clear as well. Water looked a bit lower at my dock this morning. Just maybe they are figuring on dropoing the level. Might be better going to Table Rock.

Just messin with ya all !! Wife and I got our limits in about an hour yesterday on Pomme. Gonna be a crowded and crazy weekend at the lakes! Once we started catching fish we had two boats from the other side of a large cove come flying over within minutes and start fishing right next to us !! Must have had binoculors. Idiots ! Best part was they only caught a few dinks!!

Crappie are biting fine at LoZ, they just aren't on the banks spawning yet. Fish around brush in 12-20' of water and you will catch crappie. Nearly every spot like that produced fish Saturday, but only a few had a good concentration of fish on them.

I'm thinking by Sunday or at least early next week, everybody will be able to go catch a mess of crappie shallow with ease. We're finally getting some warm and stable weather conditions. I'm hoping I can bust a thunderchicken during the week and go chase crappie next weekend.

Ended up just fishing from the bank over the weekend at Stockton. Didn't get a limit but had a nice mess and one bonus walleye.
