Jimmy Houston in 2nd after day one

Well Jimmy did not make it to day 4.  He's only 5 lbs. back, but that wasn't enough.  Maybe Matt Arey can make it three in a row.

Watched them take off this morning. STIFF breeze from the east. On another note, talked to a striper guide waiting for his party. He said there are more stripers right now in the Rt. 12 basin than people think.

I seen a few striper boat out by 12 bridge yesterday.  I'm just tired of trolling.  I'll catch back up with the tuxedo fish back in fall/winter.

I still don't have my 40lber so I will chase them until I get one.

I'll get one evetually.  There's little green fish to be had for me now though. Those little guys r fun.

Hey Bill-didn't know that was you. I was right next to you while you were talking to the striper guide. We were in the 'Chevy of Fayetteville' boat. We went out with our buddy Matt Arey and supported him for a while. We watched him lose a 4 pounder and that was tough. He has a limit for 12-13 pounds.

No, that's my buddy's boat. I've got a red/white Ranger 195. Matt's track record here at Beaver is insane!!  2 wins and 2 other top tens..he just 'gets it' here.  Practicing with Matt before the tournament was pretty sweet!  He explained his moves and why he was doing this or that.  

 Andy Morgan is another guy that has this lake figured out. These guys are good!!
