Oh yeah that's right! Exciting man! i went through that for the very first time about 19 months ago.....was scared to death but it was also the most amazing thing to ever happen to me and my wife.

You bet man. I went out yesterday and the topwater bite switch got flipped on.  Going out today after church to see what's going on. I didn't catch big fish  but they were going crazy on walk the dawg.  Didn't mean to be rude to the guys fishing the opposite bank but I caught back to back fish right in front of em. Thought it might be one of you guys?

sounds perfect! Ol smalliebigs got me into dawg baits and i now find myself in possession of a few dog x and evergreen JT 95'S..even a few pop x max......needless to say i'm ready to learn how to use those dawg baits.

I couldn't get away to LoZ to chase crappie so I settled for bass on the Gasconade. After managing a measly four dinks, I now know why you guys hate this time of year. I had several fish pick up and swim around with my jig, but I swung a miss. I'm not sure if they were just dinks or bed fish trying to move the bait off but I had a heck of a time hooking anything.

I just bought a GoPro to film my trips and was trying it out too. Mabe I jinxed myself since I was on camera.
