rps Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 More than one person swears by Binks, and with good reason. Another alternative is my favorite local, War Eagle. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/War_Eagle_Jiggin_Spoon_2pk/descpage-WEJS.html As for hanging up - get your boat directly over the hang and gently pull/jiggle up and let down. Many times the bait will come free, Only as a last resort, try to bend the hooks before the line breaks. dan hufferd 1
nomolites Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I use the old reliable CC spoons in 3/4 mostly but I swap the hooks for a red treble that I tie a translucent skirt on. Fish them horizontally in the evening during the summer at LOZ and it can be a real hoot with hybrids and walleye in addition to boatloads of white bass. I would certainly use the Binks if I had them; next time to Norfork may pick up a few manyshads - he really knows how to use that bait to catch fish. Mike dan hufferd 1

Mike All this talk about spoons...I have already placed an order with Binks (they are running a deal too) , I bought some 1/4 oz crappie spoons to try, and a couple "many shad", of course. If you see a boat pulling a dingy behind it, it's me, I had to have some place to put the tackle. I need to go on a tackle fast.
