ollie Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Which part Wayne. The vandalism or the fish? Fish caught on Mo side and vandalism on OK side. You know where. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 14, 2007 Root Admin Posted March 14, 2007 I camped at a place- it's really on the lake (Grand) but at the mouth of the river. There's a ramp- have to pay to use that ramp I remember and camp- $2-3 but that was years ago. What's the name of that place?
ollie Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Sorry Phil, not where I was at but, give us more idea and maybe someone knows. On Elk? Because there is one on the mouth into the lake somewhere but then again, I couldn't tell you the name of it right off hand. Wayne SW/MO Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Would it be just east of the Cowskin bridge Phil? I hate to hear that Ollie. Did the greenie come anywhere around the slough? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
ollie Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 You know it. Where the famous Drum was caught! lol "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!

chub minnow Posted March 22, 2007 Author Posted March 22, 2007 I had pretty good luck on the sugar last week using green trick worms and stickbaits. The state park area has quite a few fish in it, but the bite is very soft. I had to pause the stickbait for about 20 seconds to get the bite.
