I camped at a place- it's really on the lake (Grand) but at the mouth of the river. There's a ramp- have to pay to use that ramp I remember and camp- $2-3 but that was years ago. What's the name of that place?

Sorry Phil, not where I was at but, give us more idea and maybe someone knows. On Elk? Because there is one on the mouth into the lake somewhere but then again, I couldn't tell you the name of it right off hand.

well i was over at penetentary area and caught 3 smallies ..below limit ...it is just hard rite now ...have you tried the spill way over by pineville an i was at cyclone too just a little perch

I had pretty good luck on the sugar last week using green trick worms and stickbaits. The state park area has quite a few fish in it, but the bite is very soft. I had to pause the stickbait for about 20 seconds to get the bite.
