likinmo Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Coming down saturday to try my hand at bass fishing taney...Staying at Duck Harbor thanks to a suggestion from the guys on here. I was told to try up bull creek for bass. I scouted around two weekends ago and saw alot of weedbeds out on main taney. Just wondering what is producing better right now. Thanks...PS im going to be pitching jigs and Whopper Ps and Frogs mostly

wily Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 when i tried bass fishing in taney 5 years ago -- we tried in the little cuts, and behind the islands -- out of the main flow of water...which we felt would be too cool for the bass. but i really struggled and didnt catch many bass, mostly just perch. maybe that helps by eliminating water for you...we were there about this same time of year. i'd say to fish the grass mats around the docks down river from where you will be staying. good luck likinmo 1
