Another rainy day a the creek monday. Caught about ten or twelve mostly small rainbow. With one ten incher thrown in. I micro nymphed ths time using 18 baetis imitation i concocted and zebra midges on 18 and twenty. Caught an aggressive two incher on the zebra. Saw some bigger fisher but the water cleared up and they were spooky. I need to branch out and try a new river but crane is so peaceful that its hard to turn down a walk down the tracks . Lower access wasnt very productive this outing vs last time. Almost time for a night trip to taney to stalk some browns so no more crane til winter... maybe
