Our summer benefit trout tournament is this Saturday.  Branson Fire Auxillery (previous Guns & Hoses).  Guns dropped out.

8 am - 2 pm

2- man teams

$75 entry

Trophy and Prizes and lunch provided.

Raffle and Auction with nice items.

All benefiting our local fire fighters.

Duane had a trip this am.  Pink trout worm under a float 5 feet deep caught all they wanted.  Fishing below Fall Creek to Short Creek.  A couple staying here have been throwing 1/16th and 3/32nd ounce dark jigs from the highlines above Monkey Island down through the island and "catching a lot of trout" mainly in the mornings.  Some other guys who left today said they caught "too many trout to count" on white and pink Gulp eggs down through the bridges the last 3 days, best in the afternoon after they kick on 3-4 units.

MDC is shocking tonight.  Annual survey.  They will shock from Rebar down to Short Creek. Water will be off.  They will start at dark.
