I've been sticking to channel swings. It's worked out ok for me.  I'm sure the tournament guys have better info.  But for me I don't need big sacks and 10 inches spots keep me happy.  But it was definitely need nice to find bigger fish n e ways.  Even my "biggens " don't come close to some one like mike jones, who's always hooking up with quality bass.   I'll say this, I think there was a tournament yesterday, cuz I seen 5-7 bass boat fly by at about 710 pm yesterday, heading south.  I was in the HSB area and they kept going passed me.   I imagine they were fishing up pasted HC. But not for sure.

Thanks for the compliment Dan..I wish we could catch quality every time we hit the lake but hey, it is Beaver lake!!  Lol!!

Seriously though, we have stayed on them pretty good from the spawn until now. Even had a couple of those special spots that have produced several fish over 4 pounds. Hope we stay on them as we have several fish-offs and championships coming up.

Good luck in your upcoming fishoffs/championships, Mike. This was always an exciting time of year before I decided I was done with derbies.

Definitely.  I tried multiple things looking for what the fish might be relating too.  Slope banks, steep banks, transitions of rock, docks, deep trees, channel swings, open water, etc.  I was surprised to not see much of anything at all in a very large coverage.

Try not to overthink things, J-Doc. Go to one of your favorite areas of the lake, pick out the structure you like to fish (points, boat docks, etc.), put on your confidence lure (within reason for the season) and relax. You know how to catch fish.

It's good. Nice green tint.   Probably 3-4 feet

That is a lot darker than point 9, I was watching blue gill on the bottom at 15 feet Sunday. The wind was blowing good but I was really surprised how clear the water was behind the wind breaks. IMO bass are easier to catch in stained water.
