Dan the fisherman Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 I got out this morning from 830 to 11. I tried a couple of channel swings with nothing. I knew I didn't have much time so I started to beat a bluff wall with a Sammy. I ended up with 2 LMB for the morning..... Later this afternoon after the rain shower I got back out at 545 and fished till dark. I fished 2 points before I started marking packs of fish. I ended up with 7 big whites, 3 striper (small 15in) and 2 spots. They were all caught in the in 40 feet of water and were cruising in about 25 feet. The afternoon fish were all caught on a spoon. Water temp was about 83-82. There was also a lot of floating debris from the rains earlier. So be careful out there if u go tomorrow. I fished MN to HSB. Lance34, Quillback, Stump bumper and 3 others 6

Dan the fisherman Posted August 30, 2016 Author Posted August 30, 2016 Quill, there's definitely some good fishing to be had with the lower water temps. I can't wait till the water drops to the mid 70s. Bg193ch, Mike jones and Quillback 3

I've been catching a lot of whites lately. I don't mind. I'm an opportunistic fisher man and will go for whatever lol. But looks like there's some cooler weather coming soon. Very excited for that.
Champ188 Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Ready for those good spots to get on the dock corners.
