OK - now that the weekend is almost over I will post my report....fishing partly great to outstanding. For a few weeks I have been watching the blogs for advice and when I read Phil's last report about the Berkley power worm I ran out to my favorite sports store and grabbed a few bags.

Arrived here Friday late and rigged up with 2 lb line a float and one of the worms pinched off. I did not have a 1/100 jig head so I used a 1/64 trout magnet head - unloaded at Coopers and fished to Lilleys - caught 4....

Saturday fished early and really did well...couple dozen +/- best fishing was early from Fall Creek to Lilleys.

Sunday went to the rock  because some friends were down and the wanted to Bass fish.....early on I knew they were not Bass fisher people....they couldn't ID a bait caster! Long story short these two snagasaures had a good time.

Back to Taney - Monday a.m. Out at 6:15 started at Fall Creek....had 15 by the boat ramp and I will not tell you what the total count was when I finally came in.

Easy peasey - just watch your depth and set your float accordingly so the bait is close to the bottom....strikes were very light and you really had to pay attention. After the sun got up I would actually watch the trout take the bait then I would set the hook....I couldn't tell you how many times they had it in thier mouths and then spit it out!!

And thank you to the lady in pink that kept yelling at her kids in the boat.....I don't think your son dropped his rod overboard I think it was trying to run for its life!!
