Finley River report

Went this evening for a few hours. I caught three bass and my buddy caught one. All on Texas Rigged plastics. The biggest wasn't much over 13 inches, but it was still a fun night. Had success fishing on the edge of the pads and down river along the bluff on the west side.

I tried to fish the finley two weeks ago.  I was fishing pads from the banks of finley river park.  Didn't get any action.  Where were you fishing from, I am sorry I am not too familiar with the Finley river area so I am not sure where downriver along the bluff is?

Well I was fishing on a little boat. That's the best way to fish the Finley. We just motored up the river and fished along the bluff wall. If you're looking up river it's on the lefts side.

Are their any restriction at the finley park with horse power.

There might be. I'm not for sure though.

No - but you can't get up on plane in anything big without having to power right back down or crunch.

I wouldnt even crank my big motor, i have always wanted to put in and just use the troller.  I just figured someone would throw a fit if they saw me launching a boat with a big motor

they had 22ft. tri-toons out there with 250hp verado's during river jam this year
