I rebuilt a Garcia 6wt earlier this summer using the same process. It handles small and largemouth bass and trout park trout with no problem. Just another way of "clear" wraps similar somewhat to using white silk that goes clear when varnished. The key to making threadless wraps with the proper strength is the use of permagloss. trythisonemv and bkbying89 2
