bkbying89 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Finally made it back to Lane Springs today. The last time before it closes the gates. I did well I think, I landed 10 and lost or missed at least 7. Started at around 8:00 With a P&P midge, That was the winning fly today, then switched to wet flys and continued to catch fish though I lost three of the wet flys to the nasty brushes lurking around and in the stream. I am just starting to use the wet fly and I missed a few by not letting them have it long enough. Most of them were small par, the big one went about 8 inches. It was a good day. Sorry, for the lack of pictures, I left the camera at home. mreed81, laker67 and Johnsfolly 3

If you catch a big one all the better. Great job! Just wished I had seen this post back Oct. Would have likely shifted some plans to make a trip down that way. You and Eric82 have got the wild trout figured out!
bkbying89 Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 I wish, Have you seen my last couple of post at the BSC thread. I do enjoy fishing the small creeks and rivers. I look forward to Lane spring opening back up. I would like to hit some of the other little creeks out that way.
