Ketchup Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 We normally stay at C.O.E campgrounds unless out of state. Now that they are closed for the season, are there private campgrounds around that are open? Looking to go for a week soon before winter hits. Thanks TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
176champion Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 Only thing that comes to mind would be Port Kimberling City since it is not COE owned...they have a camping area and cabins... Ketchup 1 I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips
Hammer time Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 I'm not sure but believe Indain Point is still open.
Forsythian Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 I think you can stay at the COE campgrounds for free, no water or electricity(?) Cenosillicaphobiac

I know at Big M they have no camping of any kind allowed sighs posted and it is a COE campground. I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips
Forsythian Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Must vary by campground... Buck Creek on Bull Shoals is open for primitive camping this Winter. Cenosillicaphobiac
Dutch Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Check out Stockton. They have a "shoulder season" electricity only and about $5 per day. Stockton State Park is always open with electricity only.
Dylan Cluver Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Indian Point is open just no water or electricity No one gripes about obese fish.
Quillback Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 I believe Viney is now open year round operated by the state. No hook ups available now, but you can camp and I believe it is $10 a day to camp. https://mostateparks.com/page/61549/viney-creek-recreation-area Muddy Water 1
