Gatorjet Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Nothing about the fishing, but I am looking for information for someone on another, Branson related forum. Anybody seeing eagles while they are on the lake. The person I am talking about is a wildlife photographer, and will have a day and a half on the 20th and 21st to try to find a place close to the lake for some photo opportunities. Just thought I'd ask to see if anybody has been seeing eagles. Real men go propless!
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 7, 2017 Root Admin Posted January 7, 2017 The nest above Fall Creek should be active. That's where we always see one.
Gatorjet Posted January 7, 2017 Author Posted January 7, 2017 Thanks Phil. He was also asking about the possibility of hiring someone with a boat to take him out on the lake. I know your dock hands have taken people sightseeing in the summer, so I mentioned Lilleys Landing to him. Not sure with that weekend being the Masters though if you would be able to. Real men go propless!
Gatorjet Posted January 7, 2017 Author Posted January 7, 2017 Just for interest, here is a link he sent me to some of his photography. https://www.flickr.com/photos/34288079@N08/sets/72157644142784765 Real men go propless!
Members Alby Fish Posted January 8, 2017 Members Posted January 8, 2017 Saw one today soaring around Branson Landing
Jeremy Rasnick Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 There is a mature and an immature most of the time roosted at the corps of engineers office. They stay on the point or in the tree next to the courtesy dock area. I see them nearly everyday, not even looking for them. Good luck.

JestersHK Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 I saw one yesterday down by the dam. Saw one in the beginning of December perched across from Phil's place up on the bluff. Very cool to see them.
