Bass Yakker Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 The water temperature by the peninsula with the fishing docks on Lake Springfield was 46 degrees around 4:30 or 5:00 today. Does anybody know if they ever release warm water from the plant anymore? And if they don't why not?
Bass Yakker Posted January 31, 2017 Author Posted January 31, 2017 P.S. Water clarity was at around 2 feet. A lot clearer than it has been this winter. And Barbie rod n reels don't float. I'm going to try bank fishing at Fellows for the first time tomorrow.

Bass Yakker Posted February 1, 2017 Author Posted February 1, 2017 Off the bank. I'm gonna wait for the water to warm up some before I go out in the kayak again. Took the kids to Lake Springfield Monday and went to Fellows Tuesday. Got skunked both times. I'm just not that good of a fisherman. . .yet.
Smalls21 Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 that's why we call it fishing and NOT catching Bass Yakker 1
Flysmallie Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Fishing from the bank at Fellows is a good way to destroy your confidence. Royal Blue, tho1mas and Bass Yakker 3
Bass Yakker Posted February 2, 2017 Author Posted February 2, 2017 Lol. Thanks guys I won't give up just yet. Probably best to wait for more favorable conditions and use the kayak.
bassfisher Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 You need to put in below 65 bridge and go up towards main lake by the steel bridge.... Bass Yakker 1
