How effective is this bait when used in combination with a drop shot or jigging spoon?  Curious about the bait for TR.

Unless you plan to only fish it on sandy points without brush, cut off the two hooks at each end and leave only the treble. I fish them two ways. The first is like a vertical jigging spoon. They tend to track around in a circle if you don't get carried away with your lift. The other way is to cast far over flats that drop off to channel and then pop it and reel, then pause and let it dart back to bottom. Linder did a video where he lets the wind drift the boat and he does the pop jigging over a long stretch.
