Can you tell me by looking what year this Rude is?

I think I may have found my answer. Looks like the 95's and 1996 had this cowl. Going to look to see when they changed to the next cowl design.

Looks like 1997 was the last year for this cowl. Reason for asking is I'm picking up a 2012 Xpress 17' aluminum bass boat this weekend that was a leftover from a boat dealership closing the doors. The current owner bought it new and the only motor the shop had on hand that would work on the 2012 boat is this Evinrude. The owner watched them un-crate the motor and install it on his boat at the time of purchase. He stated he bought it in late 2013 and has since put 4 hours on the motor/boat, and looking at both, I would say he is correct. Not a single scratch on either, I mean none. He had it fully serviced in Nov. and had it hooked to the hose last week.  Everything operates as it should. Going to try and locate a newer 60 horse and se if I can trade this one in.

Yes I believe you can but I didn't get a picture of the serial.

If you can get the last 3 letters of the model number it works like this....
