That's a giant Ed! Thanks for sharing. Hope you heal up quickly!

I've caught mid 6's each of the last 2 years. I'm still searching for 7 before I can move on to the 8's

I was stuck at 7/11 For the longest time.  I actually caught two of them in one evening.. I really wonder how big that fish would of been if it had a belly like me...  Here is another one that I caught that was a good one for sure.58bb661d3d535_spring1.PNG.68eef96add793f01ebc4ebb6231afa81.PNG

Water temp 49.9   The lake has lots of floating stuff bottom snot. The lake is clear   The lake is down to winter pool  And the fishing is good

Got good info from my Doc.Tuesday.. He told me do what I want fish as much as I want.If  If it  hurts don't do it. So yesterday I went out for a couple hours and just as I got out the wind stopped and the water got slick. I caught a two keepers in shallow water in the back of a creek. My friend a couple of coves over knocked the snot out of them fishing a little deeper on a spinnerbait slow rolling. He had several over four and one over five . Yep he got into a school of good ones.. The tournament weights have been great and I understand they are all being caught on the same bait.

Give me a call and lets book a trip. Fishing this lake is a good time for sure..

Water temp is 47  The water is clear ... The junk is just about gone that was on the top... Lake levels 654.4  Minimal generation for the next 3 days.

The bite has been pretty good on Jigs, Crankbaits, Mo Rig and spinnerbait.... You need wind and shad to make it happen. The big bass are eating those gizzard shad. This is the time of the year to catch your big lady...Getting ready to put my burr suit on and give it heck.

Pictured is a nice one my buddy caught yesterday..

Sorry my daily fishing post got behind a few days.. Friday I had the extreme pleasure of fishing with The one and only Doug and Ed. We have had some weird up and down weather but they did mange to catch some fish on a Crankbait..the water temp was hovering around the 50 degree mark and the water was clear.. It looked as if the water had dropped about 6 inches but the Dam Report said it was unchanged from the day before.   Both of these guys are good fisherman and if the weather would of been better they would of loaded the boat...  Good time guys I wish it would of been better....

Saturday I fished in the Glazes arm of the lake with some gentleman from Kansas. The fishing was tough up there and we struggled to catch fish .  we did manage to catch 3 keepers and some shrts but my guys made millions of cast to get them.. The water temp is a little warmer up there around 52 but the water color is stained more than it is in my area.. My guys wanted to catch some crappie and I found a load of them suspended on a dock but we could not get them to bite. The fish we caught up there was on a crankbait and I found out the bills on a crankbait do not stand up to throwing them up on the rocks...Had a good time but the fishing could of been better . Jack found some  crappie that were biting up the lake pretty good and caught them good shooting docks.. What a difference 10 miles makes....

Fished this evening Sunday the 19th. the water tem in the backs of some coves was in the mid 50s. We fished a wind blown cove not far from the house and the fish were eager to bite.. We caught at least two dozen bass and we had several keepers.. We did not have any Molly hogs but we were saving them for tomorrow.. If the weather holds you should be able to catch some real toads this week. The lure of choice was a Crankbait and you had to have wind with a little brush.   Good fishing to all   Going to put the smack down them tomorrow....

Thanks for the reports Ed.  I fished the Glaze area today for about 5 hours.  Caught 20 or so with 6 keepers, biggest just over 4lbs.  Fishing is insane right now!

A little thunder in the area and not real motivated today .   So I think i will wait until a little later to wet a line... Last night found some mid to upper 50 degree water with a little wind and bang the fish were there also. Caught a handful of keepers and several shorts in about 30minutes. The keepers were good solid keepers with the biggest one going about three. Left that area went to what I just knew was going to hold a Molly Hog but I was wrong.. Fished several other areas and blanked them we fished another pocket cove with the right wind and lit them up.pretty good.  We would of probably had a fifteen pound bag but we could nit ever get a big one..

Looks like it is clearing up so off I go

Last night info    Water color wind blown stained 3ft vis.  water temp :mid to upper 50s   sunny  wind from the south west about 5 and it was spotty  Caught fish on a crankbait and a spinnerbait.

Good Fishing to all of you!!!
