Thats a tough level to fish unless you plan to float and toss crank baits. I wont wade Cardiac it unless its under 500cfs at Steelville, but you might be alright if you fish between the park & Dry Fork.Cheers.

bike, save the trip. I live within 15 miles of cardiac and suicide and from the rain we've had in the last few hours it ain't gonna be pretty. I went to town, (Rolla) about an hour ago and the Dry Fork was still nice but every little feeder creek feeding into it was up and running. You do what you want but from my point of observation everything worth fishing is gonna be high and brown. But then I'm just a dumb ol' country boy who lives down here, what the hell do I know.

I'd rather live my entire life, living as if there is a God and Jesus and to find out at the end that there isn't, than to live my entire life as if there is no God and Jesus and to find out at the end that there is.

Vic - thanks for the info - sounds like good advise - if I had half a brain I would listen to you. May make the drive anyway and end up in Maramec Springs.

Finally got to Cardiac yesterday. The river is still up a little, but fairly clear. We caught a few, nothing big, on cracklebacks, prince nymphs, scuds. Didn't see any kind of hatch.
