Shad balls

Holy Santa, I seen some of the largest schools of bait fish that I have ever seen. I took a few snaps of the screen. Must be thousands of them. Hard to believe guys like myself can catch a bass with all of that free food available.

Plastic, rubber, and steel must taste better than those little sardines.

I was able to fish the fall shad balls this year on Pickwick.  Bass were hammering them from underneath like schools of sharks fattening up for the winter.  And, if we tossed the right thing, we could catch a bass.  Funny thing was, tossing something that did not mimic the shad drew the fish in.
