Bull Advice for bass

I haven't fished that area a lot but I always like Sister. Had some good days in that creek.

I'd fish whichever one has more wind blowing in on it. What I like about Gooley is that it gives you a little more variety in a smaller area than most creeks. It will probably have more color in the back than sister, etc. 

I'm also guessing it's going to have fewer boats in it, but I could be wrong on that. 

Seriously, if I was fishing Saturday, I'd look at the forecast wind direction, and pick a creek that has the most channel swing banks laying in direct line of that wind.

D,  if your fishing the BBC Rally your gonna have company, there is another 40plus boat Tourny going out of the Bull Shoals Marina area(some kind of resort owners T), and a big Tourny ou off Bull Shoals Marina itself haven't heard how many yet but they have asked the fellows who run the Winter Bass A Thon to do their weigh in. Also a Tourny out of Buck Creek (joe Bass which I am fishing)I would suspect Theodosia and Gully and Spring Creek to get hit hard I was in one of those areas yesterdayand had 17 plus lbs was out in a different area today and only had around 12, THINK Shallow water temp where I was today was 47 oh and had a walleye that weighed 6.54

thanks Bullshoalscat. your help is appreciated. I am fishing the rally. hope to at least catch some fish, and the wife has a blast when she can get on some fish. shes a spinning rig only type so she will be tossing a shad rap and probably a ned rig around and I hope for her to catch some too.

DC i'd  just fish where the shad are.  Don't know how good you are with electronics but I'd use them. 

Can honestly say I've caught more bass out of Bull fishing the buffet than any other way. These bass are hard to find, but so easier to catch imo.  If i'm not seeing shad  with my own eyes or on the screen I'm not fishing there. If you're looking for tournament weight catching stuffed to the gills bass is what you want. good luck to you and your wife !

Thanks for all the tips. I am positive we will catch fish. It is an informal laid back derby so no real pressure. can't wait to get on the water

Last bit of advice, don't cut too close to the points, and keep an eye on your GPS for humps and islands. There are a couple, notably right around the confluence of the little north fork and white river arms, that are real lower unit eaters at current lake levels. Couple of the flat runout points go waaaaaaaay out there too.
