Fish24/7 Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 titanium wire rigs are my choice for 3/8 and under , stronger yet more flexible at the same time. give the rod a sweep and the wires partially collapse and then flare back out. triggering bites. i don;t recommend them for heavy jigheads/swimbaits over 3/8, that's when i use a stiffer wire rig

This is what I started doing also, as well as putting a larger and or different colored bait on that longer one. Can't say I have done much with it, but at least after throwing it for a while I feel like I have done something

WeekendWarrior Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 All 3 baits that have hooks are 5 inch swimbaits most of the time with swimming fluke jr. at top for my dummies. Not all swim baits are created equal, I like a swimbait that when reeled ever so slowly will still paddle the tail just fine but not all do.
Members Terryfisher Posted April 10, 2021 Members Posted April 10, 2021 From Florida. I think I could use a Sabiki rig here in Missouri for bait fish if only with 3 hooks, but what about larger sport fish? Used it all the time in Florida for large Spanish mackerel.
