In many cases there is just too much damage or change to the riparian areas that recovery may be limited or impossible. Often we really don't know what is needed for these species or why they were located in the small areas that they are found. I have a ethics question to anyone reading this post - should we be allowed to fish for threatened or endangered species even with catch and release or should they be left alone?
