Flysmallie Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 I completely understand, you could put in at Mutton and motor up the river, it's not that far and a pleasant ride. Zarraspook and I made that run yesterday and seen a huge group of those big white Pelicans. They are huge beautiful birds. Just be careful, with the lake down so much it can be tricky if you're not familiar with the channel. Plus there are some awesome spots to fish along the way.

Whoa, that would take me an hour or more and 3 tanks of gas just to get there. lol To go from Greenfield Landing (CC) to Shaw's bluff takes me 20 minutes or more and by the time I get back I am so low on gas I have to get out and push!!
