Dutch Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 I went back down to Stockton yesterday and fished the A rig again in the same area that has been producing for the last few weeks. I had a different fishing partner who had never caught a fish on an A rig. He had quite a time catching then. He really liked the way that they hit it compared to how they hit a small bait that he generally uses for whites. Only 3 blacks in the area would hit it this trip and none of them would keep. The white bass count was significantly down. We wore ourselves slick and only boated 60. They didn't seem particular about the baits we has on them like they had been last week. They were still out in the channels away from the bank. The over all size was down there weren't as many pot bellied females. I don't know if the weather had an effect on them or if they are moving to spawn. Dollar Bill, ewlech, trythisonemv and 1 other 4
