It is very clear, so the fish didn't like my braided line, so I had to go to a very long fluoro' leader. 6 to 8 lb fluorocarbon was recommended, light colored baits, very long casts. It is a morning and evening bite. By the time you get there it should be really good, they had a lot of rain, it seemed like the lake had not normalized yet. Good luck
nomolites Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 The lake had more color farther from the dam and a good stain with recent rains; Cranfield area was fishing well. If the bass boys are any lead about 200 of the 247 boats in the Cyctic Fibrosis derby last Saturday passed me(just N. of Cranfield) on their way up lake to fish.... Mike dan hufferd 1
