Umberland Cove

Haven't been to Stockton since I was a kid but will be there next weekend targeting bass. Any thoughts on Hawker Branch Cove or Umberland Cove? I'll be staying at the state park.

There are always bass in Hawker.  I hit a couple of banks there last Wednesday and caught 5 quick bass on my way to night fish for whites and walleye.

I've caught plenty of bass in both areas you should be fine.

Neither of those areas hold bass this time of year. I would head for the dam, or to Aldrich.  Maybe try your posted areas after August.  ?

There is water coming in the lake from all directions. So far today the lake has risen 6" The back of all the cuts might be worth trying, although I don't know what the overnight and Saturday cold front will do.
